Retainers

Your orthodontic journey doesn’t end when the braces come off. We offer custom retainers to help maintain your beautiful, aligned smile for years to come.

Dental Retainers in Boca Raton

Once your braces or aligners come off, the last thing you want is for your teeth to shift back—and that’s where retainers make all the difference. At Mateo Dental, we create custom-fit removable clear retainers that hold your teeth in their new positions and protect the investment you’ve made in your smile. These retainers offer several benefits that make maintaining your results simple and comfortable. Because they can be taken out at any time, they’re easy to clean and allow you to brush and floss without obstruction. Their smooth, custom-fit design minimizes irritation, while the clear material keeps them discreet for everyday wear. You can also remove them for meals, special occasions, or photos, giving you added convenience and flexibility.

How to Care for Your Retainer

Clean It Daily: Rinse your retainer with lukewarm water after each use. Gently brush it with a soft toothbrush and mild soap.

Deep Clean Weekly: Soak your retainer in a retainer-safe cleaning solution or mix of water and white vinegar once a week to remove buildup and odors.

Store It Safely: Always place your retainer in a ventilated case when it’s not in your mouth.

Avoid Heat and Damage: Keep your retainer away from hot water, dishwashers, and direct sunlight to prevent warping and damage. Don’t bend or bite it into place.

Bring It to Checkups: Please bring your retainer to dental visits so we can inspect its fit and condition and make adjustments if necessary.
