He uses only the finest materials and the most advanced technology available in dentistry, and is well-known for his painless anesthetic injection techniques, which result in minimal to no discomfort during dental surgery.

Angelica
Operations Manager
Angelica brings 20 years of exemplary leadership in dentistry to our team. As our dedicated Operations Manager, she is the driving force behind our high standards of patient care and operational excellence.
Throughout her distinguished career, Angelica has established a proven track record of building robust systems and protocols that significantly enhance office efficiency and increase productivity.
Angelica is passionate about mentoring her staff to ensure every patient interaction, from the front desk to the operatory, is efficient, professional, and compassionate. She is proud to lead a team that is dedicated to ensuring that our patients receive high-quality service, while still keeping the practice running smoothly.
Outside the office, Angelica enjoys serving at her church alongside her husband, reading, and spending time with her two daughters. A fun fact: Angelica and Dr. Mateo have worked together since 2019.
Natalie
Front Office Administrator
Natalie earned her Bachelor's Degree in Natural & Applied Science and a Minor in Biology at Florida International University, where she built a strong academic foundation and developed her passion for health and science. Natalie is passionate about challenging herself continually to provide excellent care for patients and their oral health. She plans to further her passion and education by pursuing a career in dental hygiene.
Outside of her academic studies and career development, Natalie loves spending time with her dog Simba, relaxing, and watching Netflix.
Christina
Dental Hygienist
Christina is a compassionate and highly experienced Registered Dental Hygienist with over a decade of experience dedicated to providing exceptional preventive and oral healthcare. She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and personalized oral health education.
Committed to delivering the highest standard of care, Christina is licensed to administer local anesthesia and provide in-office bleaching treatments, allowing her to offer patients a more comfortable and comprehensive dental experience. Her background assisting dentists through all phases of patient care has helped shape her detail-oriented approach and strong dedication to excellence.
Originally from New York, where she grew up and completed her studies, Christina values building lasting relationships with her patients through trust, integrity, and compassionate care. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their treatment.
Known for her positive attitude and collaborative spirit, Christina enjoys being part of a supportive dental team and values the relationships she builds with both patients and colleagues.
Outside of the office, Christina enjoys spending time with her husband and their beloved little dog, Percy. She also values staying active in her community and supporting local health initiatives alongside fellow dental professionals.
Cynthia
Dental Hygienist
Cynthia is an attentive, and empathetic registered dental hygienist with over 25 years of experience in her career. Her primary passion is simple: putting people first; caring for patients, building relationships, and seeing the results of her education translate into healthier smiles. Cynthia has a loyal following of patients, many who have been seeing her for decades, and a wonderful relationship with her team.
In her free time, she enjoys raising orchids and miniature violets, and spending time with her two cats, Oliver and Leo.
Megan
Dental Hygienist
Megan is a warm, highly trained registered hygienist and certified in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide monitoring, bleaching, and tobacco cessation counseling, allowing her to provide comprehensive and comfortable care for every patient. Megan grew up in Virginia and earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from West Virginia University.
Megan is proud to be part of Dr. Mateo’s team, and is passionate about building long-lasting relationships with her patients. Megan’s passion for dentistry started early: her childhood hygienist inspired her during a 5th-grade visit, and her interest grew further through her experience working in an orthodontic practice. Today, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while making each appointment a positive experience.
Outside the office, Megan enjoys staying active through running, working out, reading, and snowboarding. She also loves baking and spending quality time with family and friends.
Bryan
Dental Assistant
Bryan is an energetic, dedicated, and experienced dental assistant with a decade of expertise in providing top-tier patient care. Bryan’s extensive career is built on a strong foundation of compassionate service, ensuring every patient feels comfortable and informed throughout their visit. His favorite aspect of dentistry is the opportunity to build meaningful, lasting relationships with his patients, contributing to their overall wellbeing and confidence.
When not assisting patients, and supporting his fellow team members who may need a hand, Bryan can be found cheering on the Miami Heat and spending quality time with his family.
Karen
Lead Dental Assistant
Karen brings over 43 years of experience to our practice, having graduated from the Florida College of Medical and Dental Careers in the early 1980s. She has worked alongside Dr. Mateo since day one and loves expanding her skills while helping patients feel confident in their smiles.
Outside of the office, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children, and two grandchildren. In her free time, she can often be found walking, reading, or making memories with her grandchildren.
